Reframing our automatic thoughts is one of the main purposes and benefits of sports counseling. Automotaic thoughts not only change how we initially perceive an experience good or bad, but also change instinctual reactions physically at times.
Simply put, if we can alter our automatic thoughts, we can alter game speed decisions on the field / court or area of play too!
