Athlete Mental Health and Mental Performance are two different types of care.
Mental Health focuses on the whole person, and in relation to the athlete, how everyday life influences may affect the expereince of being an athlete. This includes how language and interpretation from parents and peers affect how we receive criticisms or face adversity.
Athlete Mental Performance is more honed in to the athlete, in the sense of developing tools and understanding of who the athlete is, what is needed to succeed at out best and how to change as an athlete as needed.
When reaching out, take this into consideration! While both can be worked on, if you are looking for one or the other, it is helpful to have some language and understanding behind in!
